1st Year Ruby Blitz

1st and 2nd year boys recently went to Fermoy Rugby Club to compete in their first blitz of the season. Unfortunately Charleville couldn’t make it so we had 2 opposing teams to play.

21-7 win against Fermoy
Brandon opened the scoring in our first game followed by Dylan Moynihan and Jack Sexton.

26-14 loss against Mitchelstown
Darius started our 2nd game with a try in a game that was tooth and nail. James Buckley scored the try of the day after some quality passing and finding a hole in the opposition defence.

15–5 Win against Mitchelstown
We then had a friendly game against Mitchelstown with the aim of getting more game time. This remained scoreless for the first half with tries coming from Josh and Dylan in the second half to end the day on a high.

Well done to all involved and thanks to Mr Noone for organising the games.
