Scoil Mhuire Senior Students visit the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork
In October, senior art students from Scoil Mhuire, Kanturk visited the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery in Cork to see an exhibition entitled ‘Naked Truth: The Nude in Irish Art’. Among the many artists included in the exhibition were Frances Bacon, Roderick O’Connor and Alice Maher, with work ranging from anonymous medieval Sheela-na-Gigs to contemporary video and performance work. A great day was had by all.
